By Sushou Xianxian Chapter 2 A Visit to Hong Kong 第二章 参观香港 MacDonald and His Daughter joined in the summer camp organized by Da Zhou No. 1 Primary School, and were invited to visit Hong Kong with some other pupils. 麦克唐纳和他的女儿与一些小学生一起参加了由达州市第一小学主办的去香港的夏令营。 On the July 1, 2015, they arrived in Hong Kong of South China. Hong Kong is a beautiful seaside city . The first place they visited there was the Sea Park, which is the largest aquarium in Asia. It is located in northwest of Hong Kong Island, leaning against a mountain and facing the sea. When they entered the Park ,what came into their view first was a sky ——blue sculpture of a seahorse,which is the symbol of the Park. The architecture of the aquarium is unique and elegant. In it there are many oval pools , and the walls of the pools are made of glass which is about 11centimeters thick. In the pools there are various sea animals such as seals, dolphins and goldfishes. Those they had seen sea animals made them feel excited. They also visited Hong Kong Disneyland. It is one of the most famous theme parks in the world and includes four parks—Main Street USA, Fantasy land, Tomorrow land and Adventure land. They ascended to the top of Mount Taiping by the cable car.From the peak,they saw the whole Island shining brightly . The countless lights were like stars in the sky. “How magnificent it is! ” MacDonald’s daughter said. After a while ,a thin mist shrouded the peak.，they stood there as if they were in the clouds or in a fairyland. MacDonald told his daughter : “ Hong Kong is situated in the southeastern of China, with a total area of 1104 square kilometers, it covers Hong Kong Island, Kowloon Peninsula, and the New Territories.” 晚上,他们参观了香港岛的公园山太平,他们坐缆车登上太平山顶山顶看到了整香港整个岛屿。从山顶俯视，香港上空的灯光就像天上闪烁的星星。“香港的夜景多么壮观啊!”麦克唐纳的女儿说。过了一会儿,一层层薄雾笼罩着山顶，他们仿佛坠入云层中或仙境。麦克唐纳告诉女儿:“香港位于中国的东南部,面积共1104平方公里,它包括香港岛、九龙半岛和新界。” The next day, they went sight-seeing in the city of Hong Kong. The streets were very clean and tidy. Every where there were people of all colors. On both sides of the streets stood a large number of luxurious buildings and shopping centers. The goods displayed in the shops were beautiful and plentiful .，the sellers were very amiable. They treated customers very politely. 第二天,他们观光了香港城区，街道很干净和整洁，每个地方有各种皮色的人。街道的两边矗立着大量的豪华大楼和购物中心。商店的货物美丽而丰富。售货员非常和蔼可亲、非常礼貌地接待客户。 Their visit to Hong Kong was over . On their way home , the tall buildings and prosperity of Hong Kong often appeared in their mind like a film . They were so excited that they couldn’t help saying :Good-bye ,Hong Kong ! We will come to see you again in the future.” 参观香港结束了。回家的路上,香港的高楼大厦和繁荣常常像电影一样出现在他们的头脑，他们情不自禁地说：“:再见,香港!我们将来会再来的。” 赞 (散文编辑：江南风) |
